Good Verses Evil: Overall Thesis

Our thesis on the topic of good vs. evil states:
Everything embodies good and evil within them, both of which are fighting for control.
To elaborate further, everything we do as humans uses the insight provided to us by our conscience. Whether we chose to adhere to the guidance presented, we then deal with an internal battle that is then carried out and results in ones actions. Good and Evil can be a part in anything. Good not necessarily representing what is right and furthermore with evil, but rather what is known and unknown or what is accepted by society verses what may not be.
In the attached Huffington Post news article, it emphasizes the social influence on good and evil today.

Good Verses Evil: Within Media

Watch the following short clip and think to yourself what aspect of it best portrays the roles needed when describing the battle between good and evil fighting for control in the end.
Where you able to pick up on the significance of the clip to the idea of good and evil on your own? If you are having a little trouble think of it like this, the scene takes place at a soccer arena where two teams, good and evil, play/battle against one another in hopes of victory/control. In the end when the "good" team wins, the "evil" team and all their fans disappear. We are led to believe that the whole time the "good" team was ultimately playing against themselves. This particular instance relates to the thesis that there is good and evil in all that we do but we are essentially taking part in a fight that is personal.

Good Verses Evil: Found In Music

Below you will find the lyrics to the song Bohemian Rhapsody. This particular song is difficult to interpret for many, due to its all over the place battle of dialog, which makes it a perfect selection to demonstrate the battle of the good and bad within the story that is fighting for control. Which do you think shall be pronounced victorious?

Is this the real life?
Is this just fantasy?
Caught in a landslide,
No escape from reality.

Open your eyes,
Look up to the skies and see,
I'm just a poor boy, I need no sympathy,
Because I'm easy come, easy go,
Little high, little low,
Anyway the wind blows doesn't really matter to me, to me.

Mama, just killed a man,
Put a gun against his head,
Pulled my trigger, now he's dead.
Mama, life had just begun,
But now I've gone and thrown it all away.

Mama, ooh,
Didn't mean to make you cry,
If I'm not back again this time tomorrow,
Carry on, carry on as if nothing really matters.

Too late, my time has come,
Sent shivers down my spine,
Body's aching all the time.
Goodbye, everybody, I've got to go,
Gotta leave you all behind and face the truth.

Mama, ooh (anyway the wind blows),
I don't wanna die,
I sometimes wish I'd never been born at all.

I see a little silhouetto of a man,
Scaramouche, Scaramouche, will you do the Fandango?
Thunderbolt and lightning,
Very, very frightening me.
(Galileo) Galileo.
(Galileo) Galileo,
Galileo Figaro
Magnifico.

I'm just a poor boy, nobody loves me.
He's just a poor boy from a poor family,
Spare him his life from this monstrosity.

Easy come, easy go, will you let me go?
Bismillah! No, we will not let you go. (Let him go!)
Bismillah! We will not let you go. (Let him go!)
Bismillah! We will not let you go. (Let me go!)
Will not let you go. (Let me go!)
Never, never let you go
Never let me go, oh.
No, no, no, no, no, no, no.
Oh, mama mia, mama mia (Mama mia, let me go.)
Beelzebub has a devil put aside for me, for me, for me.

So you think you can stone me and spit in my eye?
So you think you can love me and leave me to die?
Oh, baby, can't do this to me, baby,
Just gotta get out, just gotta get right outta here.

(Oh, yeah, oh yeah)

Nothing really matters,
Anyone can see,
Nothing really matters,
Nothing really matters to me.

Anyway the wind blows.

Good Verses Evil: Comparison Between Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde and Jane Eyre

Whether it be in relationships or life itself, everyone fights the evil in hopes of portraying the good within them. Each person embodies both good and evil but only one will prevail and present itself at a time. In both Jane Eyre and Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, the characters are put in situations that test their ability to remain good for evil tries to overpower them.

Good Verses Evil: As Symbols

Night and day, Ying and Yang, and even angel and devil are just a few symbolic metaphors that embody good vs. evil. You might ask yourself, "What do they all have in common"? In addition to the object previously stated above, some particular symbols that can be found in life are as follows:
To elaborate, the universal symbol known as the Yin and Yang is said to represent darkness and light. It is said that without one, the other may not exist. The reason in which this particular symbol is circle is because the circle has no beginning nor end. Similarly, Dr. Jekyll could not successfully separate entities but rather the sides of a single coin.

A particular public figure that gained the title of evil for doing standing up for something so great is Martin Luther King Jr. When referring to this particular idol, the traditional definitions of good and evil are surly challenged and disproved.
